Room decor offers a charming rustic vibe, ideal for couples looking for a cozy getaway. Convenient access to nearby walking trails lets you escape into nature without much hassle.
The noise from wedding parties can disrupt a peaceful night’s sleep, especially if you've got restful plans. My room got uncomfortably hot due to limited ventilation, as the windows didn’t open wide enough. a fan helped, but it could have been more effective. Plus, the bar menu felt a bit lacking—while the battered fish was excellent, orders can get mismanaged, like having sauces mixed in unexpectedly. Breakfast timing left something to be desired, with dishes arriving late and not as requested, which can certainly be annoying when you’re looking forward to a meal.

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the Great Kielder Forest & Reservoir, perfect for outdoor activities and family fun. After our nature walks, we found some great shops for retail therapy. The ambiance was welcoming, and breakfast was delightful, with lots of tasty options.
The dining experience left a bit to be desired. My vegan burger was missing key ingredients, and the chips were stale, which felt overpriced for what we got.
